Chelsea Smith-McKinney, LSCSW

Chelsea is a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker. Chelsea Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Wichita State University in 2018 and went on to complete her Master of Social Work degree in 2019. In 2023, Chelsea earned her Clinical license in Social Work.

Chelsea has experience working with children and families in a variety of settings. She has extensive experience being employed as a community mental health provider, working with children and adults.

Chelsea has worked for Wichita Public Schools as a mental health school liaison, connecting students and families to community resources for additional support.

In 2020, Chelsea attended Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing training (EMDR) with Jill Archer, and Gary Scarborough.

From 2020-present, Chelsea has attended many child centered play therapy trainings though Heartland Play Therapy Institute.

Chelsea has 5+ years of experience with treating anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, life changes, and school concerns in children and adults. Chelsea provides a welcoming and supportive environment to facilitate growth and change in her clients.

When not assisting clients in their healing journey, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her family and dogs. She also enjoys utilizing various art mediums to foster creativity, giving back to her community and profession.
